Before you start
- Club owner or club admin access to Settings
- An active season with teams

What families need from you
Every team gets its own shareable signup link automatically, with a short numeric team code parents can type into the app. You can also share the club page, where parents pick the team themselves.
Links never expire on a timer. They keep working until you pause or archive them, or until they reach a “Max uses” limit you set.
Where to go
- Settings → Joining → Signup links
- Every link with its team, fee plan, number of uses, status and team code, plus the form to create another.
- Settings → Joining → Member signup
- Allow new player signup, Require admin approval, team preference and whether parents need an account first.
- People → Registrations
- Where registrations arrive once families submit the form.
Share and manage a link
- 1
Open Settings → Joining and scroll to Signup links
Each row shows the link, the team code (“Team code: …”), the fee plan, how many times it has been used and whether it is active.
- 2
Create an extra link if you need one
Give it a title, choose the team and fee plan (or “Club to confirm”), set Visibility and optionally Max uses, then choose “Create signup link”.
- 3
Share the link or code
Send the link in your usual group chat or email. Parents who already have the app can type the team code after choosing “I’ve been sent a link or code”.
- 4
Decide whether you review each registration
Under Member signup, “Require admin approval” is off by default: registrations then approve automatically once any signing-on fee is paid and the player joins their squad. Turn it on to approve each one by hand in People → Registrations.
- 5
Stop a link when it should no longer work
Use Pause to stop it for now (Activate brings it back) or Archive to retire it. Parents who open it then see “This join link is no longer active”.
Check before sharing
- The link is for the right team and season.
- The fee plan on the link is the one you intend.
- “Allow new player signup” is on.
- Old links you no longer want used are paused or archived.
Common questions
A parent says our link has expired.
Links never expire on their own. Check Settings → Joining → Signup links: the link may be paused or archived, or it may have reached its Max uses. Activate it or share a current one.
Do I need a new link each season?
Each link belongs to a season. Check the link in Signup links shows the team for the season families are joining before you share it.
Why did a registration not approve automatically?
Automatic approval waits for any signing-on fee to be paid. It also does not happen when “Require admin approval” is on, or when the registration matched a player the club already has and needs a person to check it.
Can a parent find us without a link?
Yes, if your club is listed publicly, parents can search for it by name. A “just my team” set-up is invite-only and can only be joined through its link or code.
