Open entries and manage team signups
Switch on public signup, set entry fees and deadlines, then approve entries from the Teams page.

What you will do
Clubs can enter through your tournament's public signup page. Their entries land in Pending entries on the Teams page, and nothing is confirmed until you approve it.
You choose whether clubs pay online through Stripe, pay you another way, or pay nothing at signup.
Before you start
- Complete Settings first, including categories, each category's Team capacity and Entry deadline (your local time).
- If you want online payment, connect Stripe Express under Account Settings > Payouts. Settings will let you choose online payment without it, but teams cannot pay until it is ready.
Where to go
- Advanced settings > Optional features
- Switch on Public signup.
- Advanced settings > Public signup page
- Enable public team signup page, Payment mode, pay-later option and Payment instructions.
- Advanced settings > Tournament Signup Settings
- Entry Fee, Currency, Stripe Fees, Multi-Team Discounts, Entry Requirements and Signup Content.
- Teams > Pending entries
- Approve, send back or decline entries.
How to do it

In Advanced settings, switch on Public signup under Optional features and select Save feature switches.

In Tournament Signup Settings, set the Entry Fee and choose Stripe Fees: Included in entry fee, or Added on top of entry fee. Then select Save Signup Settings.
Playlee's fee on online payments is 3.25% + 20p per payment, which already includes card processing. With Included in entry fee it comes out of your fee. With Added on top of entry fee the team pays it on top so you receive the full entry fee.

In the Public signup page section, tick Enable public team signup page and choose a Payment mode.
Online payment (Stripe) takes payment at entry. Offline / alternative methods shows your Payment instructions instead, for example bank transfer. No payment required at signup takes no payment. For online mode you can also Allow signup without immediate payment.

Share the signup link. It is your public page address with /signup on the end.

On Teams, open Pending entries and work through the queue.
Use Approve entry, Send back (to ask the manager for changes) or Decline. Approve anyway lets you approve with a reason when something is outstanding, such as an unpaid fee.

For teams that paid you outside Playlee, set their payment status to Paid.

When a category is full, new entries join the waitlist. Use Capacity & waitlist to Offer place with an offer deadline of up to 48 hours.
Playlee does not message the team when you offer a place, so contact them yourself.
Check you are ready
- The signup page opens and shows the right categories, fee and payment instructions.
- If you chose online payment, Account Settings > Payouts shows Ready for payouts.
- Pending entries is empty or only holds entries you are waiting on.
If something looks wrong
If something looks wrong
You cannot approve beyond your plan's team limit (8 on Free, 60 on Standard), even with Approve anyway. Upgrade before you approve the entry that goes over.
