Set up ticketing before opening sales

Prepare ticket types, prices and capacity before families start buying so the event-day experience stays straightforward.

What you will do

Spectator tickets need the Standard plan or above, the Tickets feature switched on, and a Stripe Express account that is ready for payments.

Playlee's fee is 3.25% + 20p per order, which already includes card processing. It currently comes out of the ticket price.

You need tournament days set up before you can add capacity.
Each ticket type needs a capacity: either a day capacity for one of its days, or its own cap.
Sales close automatically when the tournament finishes.

Advanced settings > Optional features: Switch on Tickets.
Ticketing: The Go live card, Create ticket type, Day capacity and the Ticket types list.
Account Settings > Payouts: Connect Stripe Express so ticket money can be paid out.

Switch on Tickets under Advanced settings > Optional features, then open Ticketing from the sidebar.

Under Create ticket type, enter a Name and Price, tick the Valid days, and leave Active and available to buy ticked.
Under Advanced options you can add a Description and Set a separate cap for this ticket type. Then select Create ticket type.

Under Day capacity, set how many people can attend each day, then select Save day capacity.
Day capacity is shared by every ticket type valid on that day.

Check the Go live card shows Payments: Ready. If not, select Payment account setup.

Tick Open public sales and select Save public sales.

Open the public tickets page and check the purchase flow yourself before sharing the link.

There is no delete for ticket types. Untick Active and available to buy and select Save ticket type to stop selling one.
