Run a live matchday safely

Prepare the squad, start the live match, record events, and end it cleanly so families see accurate updates.

Before the match starts

Live matchday publishes updates to connected families, so confirm the event and squad before starting. Use a stable data connection where possible.

Run the match

    Open the match event and select the squad

    Add only participating players and check the starting lineup.

    Start live matchday at kick-off

    Starting early can send families to a live view before the match is actually underway.

  3. 3
    Record events as they happen

    Add goals, cards and substitutions against the correct player and minute.

    Correct mistakes promptly

    Review the event timeline rather than adding a second compensating event.

  5. 5
    End the match once the score is final

    Confirm the final score and completed state before leaving the screen.

After full time

  • The final score is correct.
  • The match is marked complete.
  • The event timeline has no duplicates.
  • The family live view and notification open the match.
