What you will do
Most access problems come from using the wrong account, email address, or browser session.
Before you start
- Use one main organiser email for the event where possible.
- Check whether you are signing in as the owner or as a helper (Co-admin, Support or Viewer).
- If someone else created the tournament, make sure they have added you as a helper first.
How to do it
- 1
Sign in with the account that owns the tournament or has been added to it.
- 2
Check the tournament appears on your Tournaments home page.
- 3
Use one browser session per account.
Use a second browser profile if you genuinely need another account open.
- 4
If you have forgotten your password, go to Account Settings and use Send password reset email.
- 5
To change your display name, open Account Settings and save the General settings form.
- 6
To change marketing emails, use the Notifications form in Account Settings.
Choose your preference and save it. Saving the preference does not send an email.
Check you are ready
- You can see the tournament in the correct organiser account.
- You know whether you are the owner or a helper, and which role you have.
- You are not mixing multiple organiser accounts in one session.
If something looks wrong
If something looks wrong
A lot of access issues are just the wrong email address signed in against the wrong tournament.
Change your display name in the app
- 1
Open your account profile
In the Playlee app, open account settings and the name editor. Enter your replacement display name, up to 80 characters.
- 2
Review and save your name
Use Save in the native editor, or Do it after reviewing the guided replacement. Only your signed-in account display name changes; email, phone, linked people and payment details remain unchanged.
- 3
Check your profile
Return to your account profile and check the saved name. If the response is uncertain, check the existing profile before trying again. No email, SMS or push is sent.
Choose your own push notification channels
- 1
Open Notification settings
Open Notification settings from your account menu in the Playlee app. Choose messages, announcements, payments, events and information requests explicitly. The guided review replaces all five saved channel choices for your signed-in account.
- 2
Review and save the channels
Choose Do it after checking each on or off choice. This affects future push filtering only: it does not change marketing email consent, send a notification now, delete messages or move money. An older rolling-schema instance may retain the default information-request channel.
- 3
Check the saved settings
Return to Notification settings and check the saved switches. If the response is uncertain, check the current settings before another attempt.
Send a direct support request from your account
- 1
Use the existing Support screen
Open Support, Contact support. For a ticketing or payment issue, account lockout, live-event blocker, or privacy/security issue, choose the category and urgency and enter a private subject and description. The bounded assistant action uses your current signed-in account name and email, creates a ticket and initial customer message readable by you and Playlee support, and applies native contact/IP rate limits. It does not attach an AI conversation, tournament or other contextual record; use the native app for other categories or conversation escalation. No outbound email, SMS, push, payment or refund is sent by creation.
- 2
Review and confirm
Review the exact owned account or named ticket and intended private text before confirmation. Check the original operation and ticket record before repeating an uncertain result. Other accounts and administrator-viewed tickets cannot be replied to through this customer lane.
Reply to your own support ticket
- 1
Use the existing Support screen
Open Support, My tickets, then the named reference and conversation. Add your private customer reply. The message becomes readable by your account and Playlee support; native transaction sets the ticket to waiting on Playlee, including reopening a resolved or closed ticket. Internal support notes stay private. This is a message to support, without outbound email, SMS, push, payment or refund.

Review and confirm
Review the exact owned account or named ticket and intended private text before confirmation. Check the original operation and ticket record before repeating an uncertain result. Other accounts and administrator-viewed tickets cannot be replied to through this customer lane.
