What you will do
The directory listing is managed in Advanced settings under Directory listing. A tournament only appears in the directory when it is ready: competition visible, not excluded, start and end dates set, and a venue name, town and postcode filled in.
Before you start
- Use clear age groups and formats.
- Keep dates, location and status current.
- Treat the listing as a public advert for the event.
Where to go
- Advanced settings > Directory listing
- Listing content (Title override, Short description, Long description, Organiser display name, Registration URL) and the flyer.
- Exclude from directory
- Keeps the tournament out of the directory while its public pages stay available.
How to do it
- 1
Check the dates and the venue name, town and postcode in Settings.
- 2
In Advanced settings, open Directory listing and fill in the Listing content.
- 3
Add a flyer, or use Generate flyer with AI.
- 4
Recheck the listing whenever dates or entry status change.
Check you are ready
- The listing answers the main practical questions quickly.
- Dates, venue and postcode are filled in.
- Exclude from directory is off, unless you want the event kept out.
If something looks wrong
If something looks wrong
If a club still needs to message you for the basics after reading the listing, the listing is not doing enough work.
