How do teams enter my tournament?
What a club manager sees when they enter through your public signup page, and what happens next.

The short answer
Clubs enter through your tournament's signup page: the public page address with /signup on the end. They fill in contact and team details, pay if you have chosen online payment, and their entry waits for you to approve it.
Short answer
The signup page only appears once you have switched on Public signup and ticked Enable public team signup page. It shows Entries are closed once the tournament has finished, and a category closes to new entries after its deadline.
The form has three steps: Contact (Club name, Your name, Your email), Teams (Team name, Category and manager details for each team, with Add another team for more) and Review & payment.
What this usually means
- One entry can include several teams from the same club.
- Submitting an entry does not confirm a place. The receipt says so, and the place is confirmed when you approve it.
- Each team manager gets an email with a secure login link to their team portal.
- If a category is full, the entry joins the waitlist and is not charged.

Extra context
Do teams pay when they enter?
Only if you chose Online payment (Stripe). They pay by card through Stripe Checkout at the end of the form. If you allowed pay later, they can untick the pay-now box and send the entry without paying.
Can a team edit or withdraw its own entry?
Not by itself. Use Send back to ask the manager for changes, or Withdraw on the Teams page if they drop out.
A team says online payment is not ready. Why?
Your Stripe Express account is not finished. Go to Account Settings > Payouts and complete the setup until it shows Ready for payouts.
