Add a tournament playing resource
Review one unassigned pitch, court or playing resource without changing existing fixture assignments, schedules or signup settings.

Before you start
- Current owner or co-administrator access
- A tournament workspace with a supported sport
What you will do
Eligible Support pilot accounts can add one unassigned playing resource in an Express or Advanced tournament. Public competition visibility and public signup stay unchanged. A public competition page may display the new resource configuration. No fixtures, entries, payments or messages are created.
Before you start
- Confirm the workspace name and organiser route.
- Choose a resource name and its supported playing format.
How to do it

Choose the workspace
Use the current authorised choices. The organiser route distinguishes matching names.

Enter the resource details
Enter the resource name and explicitly choose a sport-supported playing format. No format is selected automatically.

Review all nine details
Confirm workspace, resource type, name, format, sort order, resource count, current public competition and signup settings, and configuration-only effects.

Approve the resource
Only the approval button starts saving. Retry an uncertain save with its original request or stop it. Stop does not remove a completed resource.
Check you are ready
- The workspace route, resource name and playing format are correct.
- The current visibility and signup settings are understood.
- The resource remains unassigned to fixtures.
If something looks wrong
If something looks wrong
The receipt proves the original save, not current tournament configuration. Resource editing, fixture assignment and scheduling remain separate tasks.
