Coacha charges a monthly subscription plus a lower per-payment rate. Playlee charges no subscription and a higher per-payment rate. Which is cheaper depends on how much your club collects.
The fees, in pence and per month
Coacha's published plans are Lite (free, up to 50 members and one staff login), Premium at £36 a month and Custom at £60 a month. Its reported transaction rates are 2.5% + 20p for cards and 2.2% + 24p for GoCardless Direct Debit.
Playlee is 3.25% + 20p per payment, card processing and Direct Debit included, with no subscription, no member limit and no per-member charge.
Coacha plan prices are from its public plan comparison and were checked 12 September 2026. Its transaction rates are reported figures — Coacha's support article was not retrievable when we checked — so confirm current pricing with Coacha before deciding.

Which is cheaper for your club
With Coacha Premium the subscription is £432 a year before any payment is collected. Playlee's higher per-payment rate costs more only once a club collects enough through the platform for the difference to exceed that subscription. Put your own numbers into the fee calculator — a small club collecting a few thousand pounds a year pays less with Playlee; a large class business collecting hundreds of thousands pays less with Coacha, and should talk to us about volume terms.
